Book Series on Mobile

A series groups related books (a trilogy, a saga, or a set of standalones that share a world) into one ordered collection.

Browse your series​

Series is not a bottom-tab item on mobile. Open your series library from a book's settings:

  1. In Write, tap Actions (...), then Book settings.
  2. Choose Series and tap Manage series.

Tap a series to open its detail screen, where you'll see its books in reading order. Long-press a series and choose Move to Trash (the books stay in your library). Restore it from Account > Data & sync > Trash.

Add a book to a series​

  1. Open the book and go to Book Settings.
  2. In the Series section, turn on Add this book to a series.
  3. Pick an existing series, or tap + Create new series, name it, then Create.
  4. Tap Save changes on the Series section so the book is actually attached.

A book can belong to one series at a time. Turning the toggle off and saving makes the book a standalone again.

If the book already belongs to a series, Open this series on that same section jumps straight to its detail screen.

Reorder books​

On the series detail screen, use the up and down arrows next to each book to change the reading order. (There's no drag-and-drop on mobile; the arrows do the same job.) Use + Add book to pull another library book into the series, or remove a book from the series without deleting the book itself.

Exporting a series​

Series export (omnibus or bundle) is available on the web app from the series menu. The mobile app focuses on membership, reading order, and editing series details.

Series and the Story Hub​

Story Hub entries can be scoped to a series, so a recurring character or a world rule appears across every book in the series. See Story Hub for how scope works.
