What's New on Mobile
The WriteinaClick team can post What's new updates, such as release notes, tips, and news, directly in the mobile app.
When you open the app
If there are posts you have not seen yet, a What's new sheet appears after launch with one or more cards. Scroll through them, then close the sheet when you are done. Those cards are marked as seen so the same batch does not appear again; new posts show when they are published.
On each card you can:
- Like the post.
- Comment: open the comments, read what others said, and add your own.
- Share: opens your phone's share sheet so you can send the post to someone.
- Tap the post's button (for example Learn more) when it has one.
From a notification
You can also get a notification about a new announcement. Tapping it opens the Account tab. The What's new sheet shows new posts the next time you start the app, or when you switch workspace.
Email
- Product updates emails cover general announcements when that category is on under Account > Email notifications.
- Announcement mentions: turn this on if you want email when a teammate shares an announcement with you directly. Sharing an announcement with a teammate is done in the web app.
