What's New and Announcements
The WriteinaClick team publishes updates, tips, and news inside the app so you can stay informed without leaving your manuscript.
The What's New page
The What's new page lists announcements newest first. You reach it by clicking an announcement in your notification bell. Click Load older updates to see earlier posts.
Each card shows the announcement title, body, and actions: like, comment, and Share.
Pop-up announcements
Sometimes new updates appear in a What's new window when you open the app. Read each card, then close the window when you are finished. Closing records those items as seen so the same batch does not pop up again; future announcements can still appear when the team publishes something new.
Notifications
When a new announcement is published, you may see an entry in your notification bell. Opening it takes you to the What's new page (and may open the matching post).
Email preferences
Announcements are delivered inside the app. Your email preferences for announcements are the Product Updates & Announcements and Announcement Mentions switches under Settings > Notifications.
Sharing
Click Share on an announcement to:
- Share it on X, Facebook, or LinkedIn, or click Copy link to paste it into your newsletter or blog.
- Share with teammates in a shared workspace: pick the workspace, then choose who should receive it. Those teammates get a notification in their notification bell.
Sharing with teammates is only available when you belong to a workspace that has other members; personal solo workspaces do not show an internal share list.
