How to Search Your Books and Chapters
Search finds books and chapters across your library, so you can jump to the right place without scrolling through your shelf or table of contents.
Search from the top bar
- Click the Search button (the magnifying glass) in the top bar.
- Type what you are looking for. Results appear as you type, once you have entered at least 2 characters.
- Click a result to open it:
- A book opens that book.
- A chapter opens the book at that chapter.
Filter the results
Use the tabs at the top of the results to narrow them:
- All - a few of each kind of result.
- Books - book results only.
- Chapters - chapter results only.
When a group has more matches than fit, click Show All to see the rest of that group.
If nothing comes up
- No results found means nothing matched. Try a shorter word, or check the spelling.
- If search could not load results, click Retry.
To search inside a single book while you read it, use the search in Reading Mode instead. See Reading Mode. To find and change text inside a chapter, see Find and Replace.
