Sync with Google Docs and Notion on Mobile
You can connect a book to Google Docs or Notion and keep the two in step.
Connect a book
Open the book's Book settings (in Write, tap Actions (...) then Book settings) and choose Sync under Sharing:
- Tap Push to Google Docs or Push to Notion.
- Connect your account the first time.
- Choose to create a new document or update an existing one.
Sync direction
Once a book is linked, set Mirror direction to choose how changes flow:
- Out: your book updates the external document.
- In: the external document updates your book.
- Two-way: changes flow both directions.
Set Mirroring to Auto to keep the link mirrored automatically, or leave it on Manual and tap Sync now to update on demand. Each link shows the last-synced time and a status badge. To disconnect, choose Stop syncing; the document itself is not deleted.
Resolving conflicts
If both sides change between syncs, the link goes into conflict. Tap Review conflict to see the difference and choose which version to keep.
