Preferences
Open Account → Preferences for appearance and Listen playback options. On the Account hub, the Preferences row is labeled Theme, Listening so you can find both without opening the wrong screen.
Theme
Choose Light, Dark, or System. System follows your phone or tablet appearance setting. The choice applies across the app.
Listening
Continue audio in background
On by default. Listen keeps reading after you leave WriteinaClick or lock the screen. The lock screen and Control Center (iPhone and iPad) or the notification shade (Android) show a Now Playing card so you can pause and play without reopening the app.
Turn the switch off if you want audio to stop when the app goes to the background.
This setting is saved on this device. It does not change how Listen works on the web.
