Find and Replace

The mobile app does not have find and replace. There is no search bar in Write on iPhone, iPad, or Android.

What to do instead​

  • Use the web app. Open your book in Write on a computer and use Find & Replace there. It can search the current chapter or the whole book, and your changes sync back to the app.
  • Scan by chapter on your phone. Tap the chapter title at the top of Write to open the Chapters list and jump straight to the chapter you want to check.
