How to See Your Writing Progress and Set Your Weekly Rhythm

Your progress is a quiet page about the long arc of your writing. It only moves when you write, and it is forgiving by design: a single rest day will not break your streak.

Open Your progress

Open the user menu at the top right and choose Your progress. The menu item also shows a small bar with your current level.

What the page shows

  • Your level (top of the page) - a fill bar with your current tier, and how much XP you need to reach the next one.
  • The path - every tier in order, with the one you are on marked: Blank Page, First Words, Finding the Thread, In the Flow, Storyteller, Wordsmith, Novelist, Author, and Master of the Craft.
  • This week - how many days you have written this week, out of the number of days you aim for. Any day counts; it does not matter which days you write on.
  • Current streak - how many days in a row you have written. If your streak is at zero, the card tells you how many of the last 90 days you wrote, and that one writing session restarts it.

Set how many days a week you aim to write

  1. In the This week card, click Change.
  2. In Days a week I aim to write, pick a number from 1 to 7.
  3. Click Save.

The default is 4 days a week. To go back to it, click Use the default (4).

Your Ink wallet

At the bottom of the page, click View your Ink wallet, store & history to open Settings > Ink & Rewards, where you can see your Inkdrops balance, set your daily goal, invite friends, and spend Ink. See Ink & Referrals.
