A Home for Authors

WriteinaClick is built as a home for your book, not a toolbox of disconnected features. The writing comes first. Your voice stays yours. Finishing the book is the point, not collecting word-count badges or bouncing between apps.

What that means in practice

  • One place for the whole book. Notes and research, drafting, proofing, and getting a finished file ready to share all live around the same manuscript.
  • A co-author, not a ghostwriter. Robin helps when you ask, with answers, suggested wording, and proofreading, without taking the credit or flattening your style into generic Robin prose. Robin never changes the text in your manuscript. You decide what goes in.
  • Your voice, never ours. Voice profiles help the wording Robin suggests sound like you.
  • Progress without pressure. Goals, streaks, and Ink reward the habit of showing up. They never replace the book itself.
  • Show the book, not the tech. You navigate by what you're doing with the manuscript, not by product jargon or mode names.

How the home is organized

Day to day, the app guides you along a clear path for each book:

Home → Research → Write → Edit → Publish

That path is quiet guidance, not a tour you have to finish. You can jump to Write whenever the words are ready. Book settings (metadata, voice, goals, series) sit beside the path as a utility, not as another step in the journey.

See The Path for Your Book for what each destination is for, and Coming for Your Book for where the home is headed next.

Web and mobile

The same home on every device. How you tap or click differs: the Web and Mobile sections cover that. The ideas on this page apply everywhere.
